Kenneth & Marget Sample

We moved to Santa Fe last year to be closer to our son and daughter-in-law. They invited us to visit Christ Church Santa Fe as they loved their church home. When we visited, we found the Music Ministry was so uplifting and inspiring and we decided this could, and would, be our church home also.

Tim & Diana Hartley

Diana and Tim Hartley, Santa Fe enthusiasts for decades, moved here from Oklahoma in 2021. A chance meeting (or a God wink) with CCSF member and fellow Oklahoman Curt Long at Ski Santa Fe resulted in an invitation to church and brunch with Curt and Janie.

Diana and Tim have attended worship services at Christ Church Santa Fe for the past year, following many years as active members and leaders at First Presbyterian Church in Norman, OK.  Tim is retired from his career in journalism and corporate communications; Diana retains a few clients in her nonprofit business consultancy after retiring from her professorship at the University of Oklahoma.

They’re always on the hunt for live music, a chance to hike or bike, and revel in their favorite sport - the fun and fellowship at Ski Santa Fe.  Their two adult children, their spouses and three grandchildren live in Ozark, Missouri and Denver, Colorado, which keeps these two grandparents busy traveling back and forth to spend time with their family.

Joel & Callie Kent

We began searching for a church before getting married to establish a firm spiritual foundation and community before starting our family. We found Christ Church Santa Fe and have enjoyed the community events and friendships we have built with other members!

Ju & Paul Oshiro

We have been working and training around the world for many years and, thanks to Jesus, we found Santa Fe, NM. How we got here is a story for another time. Settling down we went to several of the local churches over time but felt like the Lord wanted us to keep searching. Searching for Him. Coming to Christ Church was such an amazing experience. Immediately we felt the spirit of our Lord and the warmth and love of fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. It was like coming home after a long journey. We felt peace and the calling of our Lord that Christ Church Santa Fe was the place He wanted us to be in. We are finally home.

Lee & Meredith Roever

Meredith was raised in a reformed Jewish household. Lee grew up in the Presbyterian church. When they married in 1993, they planned to “celebrate a bit of everything”. BUT GOD had other plans! Strong feelings led to Meredith deciding their baby daughter should be raised a Christian. After having her baptized, Meredith went on a journey of her own, and professed her faith in and dependence on Jesus Christ in 2001. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, but visiting and loving Santa Fe for over 30 years, the Roevers moved here full-time in June 2024. Providentially, they bought a home next door to Pastor Greg and Caitelen Schneeberger, which has been a gift in and of itself! Joining CCSF was part of the Lord’s plan, and they are grateful to have been welcomed with open arms. The Roevers have two adult children, Claire and Michael, who don’t live in Santa Fe, but definitely consider it “home”.

Harper Whaley

I started coming to Christ Church shortly after moving to Santa Fe in August 2022. The church community is one I wanted to join— one reflective of Biblical community. Not only are the members here fully devoted to Christ but also to one another, showing respect, grace, and support.

Ignacio & Katie Reparaz

We started attending Christ Church in 2021. What brought us to the church was the solid Biblical teaching of the PCA. Now that we’re here, I’m also so thankful for the chance to serve alongside people who strive for excellence, a children’s ministry where kids of all ages are respected enough to be taught unwatered down truths of Scripture, and the beautiful people we can grow alongside who point us towards Jesus.

Matt Caldwell

Christ Church is an answer to prayer. The music, fellowship, and humble preaching exemplify what the Bible describes as a Christ-centered church. In the small group I am part of, the discussions are soul nourishing and thought provoking.

Our entire marriage and family life was spent in Georgia when 1.5 years ago my husband, Don, had the opportunity to come work at Los Alamos National Lab as a consultant. We have thoroughly enjoyed our life here. We love Santa Fe’s restaurants, history, mountains and most of all, its people. We started coming to CCSF in January 2023. We were immediately drawn to the strong biblical teaching on Sunday mornings and the warm sense of community found in our Small Group. Through grace, love and that same sense of community, we have found our second family here and couldn’t be happier.

I moved from Dallas to Santa Fe on May 1, 2022 having visited Northern New Mexico for more than four decades. I knew of CCSF through Martin Ban and visited our church in August 2015 – Martin’s last Sunday before his family move to Dallas. In November 2019 God told me that time had come to move to Santa Fe and for two specific purposes: to be part of CCSF and to extend His hospitality to anyone needing it in Santa Fe. The church has warmly welcomed me with open arms since my move in 2022; I love the intimacy of the CCSF family and her heart for our City Different. God has been faithful and gracious in bringing me to this amazing place. I can truly say I love our church!

After my wife of 20 years passed away in August 2022, a Jewish friend asked me if I had found a church yet.  No.  Wasn’t even looking, having concluded long ago that most Protestant denominations had wandered too far from the simple teaching and preaching of the Gospel long ago.  He suggested I check out Christ Church Santa Fe.  My first time attending I knew that this church was a Bible believing, Bible teaching church that preached the Gospel.  A kind of church that I had been looking for for decades. I’ve been here ever since.
